A request has been made to create some analysis type reports from the data in the logbook that include: total fish caught, avg weight, avg length, etc. In order to do this, a change to the logbook was needed. Any field that had its data type changed had the contents copied to the generic note field for the given section. Ex. The "Fish Caught" field changed type. So, in the generic note field would contain the previous entry for the "Fish Caught" field. You simply re-enter your data in the field and move on. Changes have been carried over to the "Ask Genie" search section for locating information in the system. - Changed the Wind Direction and Moon Phase fields on the Logbook "Weather" section to pre-set/selectable fields. - Added new feature to track line types and added them as a "Setup" item for the tackle section of the Logbook Entry. Created help and report for Lines as well. Release 1.3.0: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Added the ability to store a file location for an electronic map file for a Body of Water in the Water Setup section. - Added the ability to categorize waypoints for one more method of organization. - Added the ability to store a picture receipt to an income/expense item. - Added the ability to attach a Contact to a income/expense item. - Make additions/changes to Task Management to make the organization of information even easier. - Added the ability to attach a weigh slip and general images to a tournament. - Added the ability to export waypoints based on the filename used during the import. This is useful for re-creating a physical GPS file and exporting it. - Added new utility called Equipment Management. Now users can store all the contact information for lodging, friends, guides, bait shops, etc. in one place. Go to Utilties, Contact Management to start organizing your contacts. - Added the ability to import/export GPX data files. GPX is a standard/generic GPS exchange format that will allow many different formats to be handled by The Angler's Genie. Most importantly, This will now allow Humminbird waypoints to be imported/exported. Humminbird users will have to download and install the HumminbirdPC application from the Humminbird website at www.humminbird.com. Once HumminbirdPC is installed, users will be able to manipulate the data from the Humminbird unit and save the waypoints to a .gpx file format that is now compatible with The Angler's Genie. So when processing a tournament to Money Management, a Catetory will now transfer as well. - Added the ability to add Notes to Bodies of Water.
